In the late 1820’s, Vicente Franceschi, a Corsican, arrived on the Venezuelan shores; after falling in love with the fine taste and aroma of the regional cacao, he established his plantation, by the “Paria” peninsula.
Now, after six generations of hard work and a passion for cacao, Casa Franceschi is dedicated to the original genetics (the criollos) and ancestral quality of this ancient, fine cocoa. We nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with our suppliers and promote responsible, sustainable production.
